On The Issues

As a small business owner myself, we must work to provide better incentives for small business owners to create jobs and economic securities for the citizens of Lincoln and Otero Counties. Small business owners, consumers, and workers gain more with less regulation 

I will always promote and protect our Oil and Gas Industry which is our primary revenue for the states budget. In 2023, New Mexico Oil and Gas Revenues were $7.5 Billion dollars that went into the General Fund, and $6.4 Billion to the non-general fund! Lincoln County alone received $11.9 Million of those dollars and Otero County $52.3 Million that went into Capital Outlay, School Funding, Higher Ed Funding, and Public School Capital Outlay.

We must have a strong workforce which is vital to the states economic health and I will advocate for Career and Technical Educational (CTE) programs that will prepare youth and adults for a wide range of high-wage, high-skill, high-demand careers.

New Mexico faces serious challenges with crime, mental health, and social issues. To preserve our society, we must confront these problems head-on and commit resources to uphold order, promote strong mental health, and protect our freedoms.

Law and order are the foundation of our safety, our rights, and our protection from lawlessness. Respecting the rule of law and enforcing justice are essential to creating safer, more productive communities.

I stand firmly against the revolving door of justice for repeat offenders. I fight to ensure our courts prosecute violent criminals and hold individuals fully accountable for their actions, putting public safety first.

For decades, bureaucratic overreach and preservationist agendas have undermined Western values and the livelihoods of New Mexico's farmers and ranchers. The Biden Administrations "30 x 30" mandate threatens our food supply, rural economies, and freedoms with its vague, overreaching goals.

Stewardship of our lands is a core Conservative value. Healthy, productive land thrives under local management, not federal control. I will fight to protect our Western heritage, rural communities, and the rights of New Mexicos land stewards against this administration's overreach.

We must preserve our shared values and western heritage while fighting the current Administration's bureaucratic overreach and I intend to do that on your behalf in Santa Fe.

I want to encourage traditional values of faith, family, and personal responsibility. We are losing ground with family values and the nuclear family that has been the backbone of the American story. I believe we are in a spiritual battle fighting for our children. Its up to us to fight todays battles so they dont have to.

I want individuals in District 56 to respect the free exercise of religion. I intend to defend the self-evident truth, "that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness."

As American citizens we have a right to protect our families and keep them safe. We have a right to purchase, carry, and use firearms whether it is for hunting, recreation, or personal safety.

The Government is slowly chipping away at lawful citizens rights by creating legislation that delays purchases and restricts where we are allowed to carry our firearms. They want to hold firearm manufacturers responsible for criminal activity and tax our ammunition.

We must stop radical politicians from destroying our Constitutional rights. Its time we punish law breakers, treat criminals like criminals, and put them behind bars.

We are at a serious crossroad on our southern border. We are literally being invaded the influx of illegal immigrants has posed a threat to our civil society.  Americans are being murdered, victimized by theft, and feel the financial burden of this enormous amount of illegal immigration.

We must close our border, restore order, vet immigrants and start the legal processing to citizenship in a lawful manner
